Lamb Meat

We produce a handful of pedigree Jacob lambs each year for meat. This year we have had four male lambs born which will go to slaughter in 2012. The meat from Jacob Sheep is known for it's delicious and full flavour and leanness. Our lambs are all birth notified and our sheep lead happy, healthy lives out in the field all year round; although they come in at night during lambing season.
They graze on fresh grass and although we are not registered organic we do not use any nasties on our land. The hay they have as a supplement in winter is also grown locally without chemicals. We hope in the future to produce our own hay.

We sell our lamb in half and whole lamb boxes and Jacob sheep meat is particularly suitable for freezing:
Whole lamb, approx 18kg = £150
½ lamb, approx 9kg = £75
