Doris, our Princess Mary Sow is for sale. She is two years old and has a lovely temperment. She is with a Patrick boar and pregnancy can be confirmed before sale via doppler. Also our Muriel Gilt is for sale, she is one year old and is also with a Patrick boar; she is an excellent pedigree pig and we are confident she will produce excellent offspring. Again, pregnancy can be confirmed before sale with a doppler. Please contact us if you are looking for stock or to start a herd.

Weaners

Please contact us to book your weaners. All our weaners are sold birth notified, tattoo'd and wormed. Our boars are not castrated and we therefore recommend they are slaughted by 24 weeks old.

Advice on starting with pigs

If you have not kept pigs before we are more then happy to offer advice and guidance on starting with pigs, please call or email with any questions you might have.  We welcome visitors and hope to offer short courses on pig keeping in the future.  If you buy weaners or breeding stock from us we will be happy to offer ongoing aftercare advice.  We would strongly recommend buying a book on the subject of pig husbandry, and one which we can recommend is A Guide to Traditional Pig Keeping by Carol Harris. The Gloucester Old Spot Breeders Club is also a wonderful source of information.

Who we will sell to

We care deeply about the welfare of our animals and we therefore take responsibility for ensuring our pigs go to suitable homes.  We will only sell to people intending to keep the pigs free range and with suitable land and time for the pigs to have a happy and natural life.
